For all you stress bunnies out there – try saying this to yourself at those crucial moments on a daily basis – it takes just 10 seconds, so any excuses about not having enough time just don’t wash…

Ten Zen Seconds by Eric Maisel

• I am completely stopping

• I expect nothing

• I am doing my work

• I trust my resources

• I feel supported

• I embrace this moment

• I am free of the past

• I make my meaning

• I am open to joy

• I am equal to this challenge

• I am taking action

• I return with strength

Try writing it out on a postcard and posting it somewhere you can see it, or carrying it in a pocket or purse for emergency stress moments…

STOP, read the card and 10 seconds later, see how you feel.

I challenge you to feel more stressed as a result (not going to happen!). Yes, it may seem slightly ridiculous to carry around a card, (until you memorize it), but what do you gain by not trying it and staying at your current level of stress?

...we have a lot of choice in how and where we spend each of our 24 hours in our day. (Yes, those same 24 hours that everyone else has!)
