Why AdVentures Interviews and why me?

Over two years ago I started an iTunes ‘Journeys’ podcast series interviewing people who love what they do for a living about how they got from where they started to where they are now – running a meaningful business. No matter who I’ve interviewed, I’ve learnt along the way that everyone has a fascinating story to tell – one that other people often find inspiring and engaging. There’s no doubt in my mind that even in business, it’s the human story that people are interested in and that the interview process is empowering on all sides.

I’m not your average marketing consultant or business coach – my background is as a creative media professional (with over 15 years experience and having worked with the BBC, Channel 4 and The Royal Opera House to name a few), who loves using technology creatively and seeing it help people connect to one another, especially in business.

While I’m pretty good at creating media and online marketing, what I’m even better at is drawing out the interesting story that’s usually hidden behind every person in business – the story that really gets the essence of what’s special about your business clearly across to your potential clients or customers.
