Are you a creative spirit trying to find your way out?
Are you at that point where it takes courage to take the next step?

If you think you might be, Jamie Ridler has created a special place - a place of fun, magic, community, and inspiration called Jamie Ridler Studios, where she brings her years of experience in theater and coaching together to help people find their beginning, their transformation point, on their personal journey through life - "...it can be so challenging because the road hasn't been paved before, there are no signposts, people around you think you're insane... I love that spirit, I love adventurousness, I love keeners who want to make something happen - make magic happen".

Using a combination of workshops, one-on-one coaching, events and a bizzillion ideas, Jamie focuses on growth, courage, and empowerment. She creates her workshops carefully, providing unique environments, both in Toronto where she lives and online "...inviting people to stretch, to risk... and making it safe to do it ....they can do it here in this space and then they can go out and do it in their life". And after she's helped them "across that bridge" to "finding more real honest self-expression", she makes sure she helps them celebrate too - "it's like the best job ever!"

Jamie literally loves her work "sharing the art love and the people love" or Exponential Goodness, as she calls it. "I love being with people in that moment where we're saying "yes, yes, let's go! I'm here - you can do this!"

Here, Jamie talks to Michelle about her work, what drives her and about her own adventurous journey. She also talks about:

really scary places, leaps into the unknown and adventure buddies
why the last time you got a haircut or bought some new shoes matters
	growing with grace
emotional rifts with money and how to cure them
authentic professionalism - are you prosperous, hip and enlightened?
why you might not want to rush through your next encounter with your accountant

Jamie’s favourite locations include: her Studio "empty and waiting for something to happen" and art galleries...

Gideon Shalwick's journey is a pretty cool success story. Just four years ago he left a perfectly good job and moved country with the idea that he wanted to start his own business but he didn't know what - "I was without a job - on purpose - and just exploring". An internet marketing course got him started, then he tapped into his entrepreneurial and creative drive and his will "to do something that I enjoyed and loved" and began doing online video.

Today, he's a leading expert in online video and marketing, and he does indeed have a job that he loves - "that doesn't feel like work because I enjoy the process so much", where now, money "is a side-effect, a by-product of what I'm doing".

Here, Gideon tells Michelle how he got started and describes some of the more recent projects he's been working on (which include a little magic!). He shares some insights into how the online business world works and where it might lead in the future. He talks about money and focus and fun and passion and change... and all with his absolutely contagious enthusiasm for what he's doing. (just listen - it's a great interview!)

Gideon also talks about:

Some very good reasons why you shouldn't have a normal job
Building an email list from 0-13,000 "just using YouTube and a blog"
The Frequency Cycle - a vital key to succeeding and surviving online
Why money is like a mistress
Lessons learned from launching an online program
Being 5 Again - can you remember what you loved at that age? (it could be important to your success)
Why you really should be on a Mac if you want to create online video... and get ahead faster
How reading your email can be a bad habit

One of Gideon's favourite location is the east coast of Australia, especially Mooloolaba and Maroochydore on The Sunshine Coast.

Jennifer Lee uses creative and artistic techniques combined with coaching to help people get out of their normal left brain modes of thinking and move towards a clearer vision of a more authentic way of being. 'I help them awaken their inner muse - that creative, intuitive part of them that we sometimes lose touch with in our day-to-day lives'.

Jennifer runs fun workshops and groups using tools like 'Creative Play', 'The Unfolding Your Life Vision Kit' and 'The Right Brain Business Plan' (click on the sidebar to get one!) to move her clients from big vision into practical action. "It's seeing people light up! It's like that lightbulb moment of when they really connect with that creative part of themselves, and that they know they are fully capable of making their dreams happen..."

Here, Jennifer describes her coaching and creative work to Michelle and how she helps women open up to their own creativity, using it in both their personal lives and to make their businesses thrive. Jennifer also tells us about her personal journey from corporate life through to empowering coach and intuitive artist, talking about:

How Visualisation can beat excel spreadsheets in actually getting your business plan done
The importance of celebrating, the 'Freedom Party' & helping your friends with their annual visions and goals
Expressive arts, magic, metaphors and painting the Unknown
	Letting go of Perfection
Continual personal growth, teaching, learning and pushing our edges
Defining moments in the road from corporate success to needing to 'earn my keep'
Setting clear goals or letting your life vision unfold?
How you probably know more than you think you do about your life purpose
The practice of being a Yogini... and her worst habit!

Jennifer's favourite locations include: walking her dog, Hawaii and Costa Rica.
